چکیده

In this paper, the dynamical behavior of a virus dynamics model with CTL immune response and time delay is studied. Time delay is used to describe the time between the infected cell and the emission of viral particles on a cellular level. The effect of time delay on stability of the equilibria of the CTL immune response model has been studied and sufficient criteria for local asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium, immune-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium and global asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium are given. Some conditions for Hopf bifurcation around immune-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium to occur are also obtained by using the time delay as a bifurcation parameter. Numerical simulation with some hypothetical sets of data has been done to support the analytical findings.

Dynamic Model of Virus Transmission in Plants

In the study of viral diseases in plants, the immune response of the plant plays a basic role. In this paper, a mathematical model based on differential equations system with time delay for the immune response of the plant is introduced. As follows, the dynamical behavior of the model in equilibrium points is investigated. At the end, a plant in two different modes, organic and non- organic is ...

Global threshold dynamics in a five-dimensional virus model with cell-mediated, humoral immune responses and distributed delays

In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of a five-dimensional virus model with immune responses and an intracellular delay which describes the interactions of the HIV virus, CD4 cells and CTLs within host, which is an improvement of some existing models by incorporating (i) two distributed kernels reflecting the variance of time for virus to invade into cells and the variance of time for inv...

Global Stability of Delayed Viral Infection Models with Nonlinear Antibody and CTL Immune Responses and General Incidence Rate

The dynamical behaviors for a five-dimensional viral infection model with three delays which describes the interactions of antibody, cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) immune responses, and nonlinear incidence rate are investigated. The threshold values for viral infection, antibody response, CTL immune response, CTL immune competition, and antibody competition, respectively, are established. Under c...

A THREE DIMENSIONAL HTLV-1 MODEL WITH INTRACELLULAR AND IMMUNE ACTIVATION DELAYS

In this paper, a three dimensional mathematical model for HTLV-1infection with intracellular delay and immune activation delay is investigated.By applying the frequency domain approach, we show that time delays candestabilize the HAM/TSP equilibrium, leading to Hopf bifurcations and sta-ble or unstable periodic oscillations. At the end, numerical simulations areillustrated.

Global Stability of a Delay Differential Equation of Hepatitis B Virus Infection with Immune Response

The global stability for a delayed HBV infection model with CTL immune response is investigated. We show that the global dynamics is determined by two sharp thresholds, basic reproduction number <0 and CTL immune-response reproduction number <1. When <0 ≤ 1, the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, which means that the viruses are cleared and immune is not active; when ...
